Study On Establishment Of CBR-Based Bidding Knowledge Management System For Building Construction Enterprise

Businesses today often find that discovery and maintenance of knowledge is critical to surviving in the knowledge-based economy. Enterprise knowledge management has gradually become the key of enterprise's survival and development. Because of the mainly support industry of national economy, research on knowledge management of building construction enterprise is particularly needed. The relevant researches on knowledge management of building construction enterprise have already caused the attention of other scholars at home and abroad, but there have rarely researches on construction bidding knowledge management. Bidding is a strongly practical work, and its whole process needs to depend on expert's experience and knowledge which are all usually tacit, even there is a lack of durative for tacit knowledge on account of high mobility of the talented person in construction industry. The traditional bidding system emphasizes on calculation of data by using computer generally, lacking the exploitation toward experience and knowledge. Therefore, considering the transform from tacit knowledge to explicit knowledge, the paper uses the methodology of case-based reasoning (CBR) into the knowledge management, makes tacit knowledge based on experience explicated in cases by establishing the CBR-based bidding knowledge management system for building construction enterprise, in order to improve the reuse of knowledge. The main work of this thesis is generalized as follow:(1) The overview of relevant research on knowledge management and knowledge management system are briefly presented. Research developments of construction enterprise knowledge management are discussed. The relationship between CBR and knowledge management is illustrated. The basic theoretics of knowledge management, bidding and CBR are introduced. The paper's research target, content, method and idea are also maked clearly.(2) A theory framework for bidding knowledge management is giving with rigorous logic, in which the theoretic base, analyzing methods and main technologies for realizing bidding knowledge management is expatiated, and main contents of bidding knowledge management research are discussed with emphasis.(3) The general design of system, including architecture design and logic framework design, is described for CBR-based bidding knowledge management system by analyzing system requirement. The functional planning of system is also provided. The bidding cases knowledge repository, including bidding cases knowledge capture, bidding cases knowledge representation and bidding cases knowledge organization, is designed particularly. The bidding cases reasoning design of system including such aspect as retrieval, evaluation, modification and storage of bidding cases is also described. Then, the bidding cases reasoning process of system is planned.(4) Some guarantee measures are given to promote the implementation of bidding knowledge management from the aspect of enterprise culture, organization structure, motivational mechanism, information infrastructure building and knowledge security system.(5) A prototype of CBR-based bidding knowledge management system for building construction enterprise has been developed and described the environment of development and running for system. The development technologies and tools for realizing the prototype system are explained. Furthermore,the main function description, the typical interface, the report of running about the prototype and some guarantee measures are illustrated.
