Since reform and opening, private enterprises in Chongqing has been considerable development and made due contributions in Chongqing city building, economic development and the appointment of improvement of living standards. However, with the degree of economic openness and cooperation in the improvement of private enterprises in Chongqing wastage rate has been high. We know that human resources are the most valuable resource owned by the company. It is the company's protection that remain long-term development. Therefore, how to reduce the wastage rate of human resources and to maintain a certain level became the private enterprises facing problems in Chongqing. The theory and practice tells us that employee's career plan is to enhance employee loyalty, reduce wastage rates, as well as an important tool for the development of human resources, the establishment of a staff career planning system, and to ensure its feasibility, flexibility, consistency, the system , as well as other measurable characteristics and principles, not only for enterprises selected the right people, but also enhance the internal cohesion and centripetal force, thus promoting the development of enterprises. Therefore, the Chongqing Municipal employees of private enterprises to develop their career planning is particularly necessary.For this reason, this paper chose to employees of private enterprises in Chongqing as career planning study carried out in-depth study, hoping to find that the present employees of private enterprises in Chongqing on the career planning shortcomings and problems, and find the causes and the corresponding response.First of all, this paper introduce the basic concept of career planning and a number of domestic and international career planning theory, analyzes the significance of career planning, and its making are evaluated. Secondly, the paper selected Chongqing seven private enterprises as a sample, using questionnaire survey, literature analysis, individual interviews and other methods, sample surveys of their employee's career planning status, and to collect the relevant data. Based on the data that has been analysised and the paper pointed out that the current problems employees of private enterprises in Chongqing in career planning. Again, for the issues raised to develop countermeasures, indicating that private enterprises in Chongqing city employees should pay attention to career planning, and enhance the possibility of their employee's career planning system , extensive measures to enhance staff professionalism, strengthen corporate with staff on career planning communication, building and improving the career planning system for feedback and correction.This study reached the following conclusions: employee career planning in the development of private enterprises play an important role; employee's career planning is a key to enhance competitiveness of the privately-run enterprises in Chongqing; the current employees of private enterprises in Chongqing city, there is a certain career planning problems; communication of employee's career planning in private enterprises in Chongqing city is particularly critical; this study can provide a useful reference f for other areas of the private enterprises and to improve their staffs'career planning.
