Study On Quality Improvement Method Of X Company Product By 6 Sigma

In this article, based on 6 sigma management theory and method, the sigma level of Blu-ray DVD defect is successfully improved.The Blu-ray DVD Player is the next generation of video and audio equipment. Nowadays, with rapid development in electronic information industry, drastic competition in DVD production happened, quality improvement must be done by manufacture enterprise by decreasing defect parts, cutting down the cost and increasing the profits.Here, scientific project definition is made by 6 sigma DMAIC process, problem and object is identified, project measure and data collection based on the process analysis are defined. According to precise data analysis, we find the main factor impacting Blu-ray DVD profit, and take related improvement measure, solidify the improvement result, and set up the control solution.Many tools of 6 Sigma are practiced in this article, e.g. C&E matrix, FDM, repeatability and reproducibility analysis, Chi-Square, 2-Proportions and so on.This article shows practical value by combining the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, comprehensively applying the content and method of the Statistics, Industry Engineering and so on, and using the explaining and analyzing tools such as chart and graph.
