The crankshaft making is one of the most important subsidiary project of the homemade project for 3300B(121) diesel engine. As the high quality requirement and manufacturing difficulty, it is significative to control the project quality effectively. Applying quality control theories, statistics technology and assaying ways, the thesis studies how to improve the project control methods and validates managing improve measures by carrying into execution while analyzing the actuality and accident.The leading efforts have four points: The first is finding out a new management tool which changes the quality information flow and quickens its moving. The second is establishing a new associative quality controlling mechanism so as to unify the judging criterion and avoid unnecessary divarication between relative project co-worker considering the fact that our project is spanning the different areas, industrys, and subjects. The third is discovering the key point to solve and prevent rigid distortion for crankshaft in course of cold machining by analysing the relativity of the characteristics. The last is perfecting the old quality control flow of the crankshaft by adding the improved result.By putting the ideas in practice, our work is becoming more effective and efficient. Now the project has turned into trial-manufacture phase. The results of quality inspection are up to par entirely, the crankshafts and our engine products have come into the market. In the backside the betterment to the quality control methods has a decisive influence. At the same time the efforts can foreshow to be helpful to the similar products and industrys.
