Aiming at the higher staff turnover rate for the Star Hotel, the realistic reason of turnover of Star Hotel staff was firstly analyzed, and then the function mechanism between career management (CM) and turnover intention was analyzed, thus a hotel employee turnover model was constructed.After the collection of questionnaires on staff through 27 Star Hotels in Changsha, factor analysis, reliability analysis, item-total analysis, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis and regression analysis were used for the analysis to the recovery data. The model was modified and the main findings are as follows:(1) Star Hotel staff's individual career management (ICM) consists of three dimensions, there're the understanding of organizational development opportunities, career cognitive and character recognition. Organizational career management (OCM) also consists of three dimensions, there're the training and retirement, career counseling, career development path.(2) The factors impacting Star Hotel staff's CS were the three dimensions of OCM> Population characteristics of sex, marital status, age, job> understanding of organizational development opportunities, career cognitive.At the same time, the influence factors of CS were training and retirement, career counseling, position, sex and marital.(3) The factors impacting Star Hotel staff's turnover intention were CS> Population characteristics of age, job, monthly income, work years, work years in this hotel and organizing feature of the period hotel setting up, the star of the hotel> three dimensions of OCM. At the same time, the influence factors of turnover intention were CS, training and retirement, age and the period hotel setting up.And the corresponding counter measures based on statistical data related to the questionnaire on Star Hotel were put forward.This paper has some theoretical value for studying the staff turnover problem, and has a strong practical guidance to reduce staff turnover rate, and a larger reference value for executive CM in Star Hotel.
