Analysis On Relationship Between Air Transportation And Airport Industry In Changsha

As a new mode of economy development, airport economy is formed during the course of air transportation facility promoting regional economy; it attracts more and more attention. Under the background of accelerated airport economy construction all around the world and especially the fast development of air transportation in Changsha, the research on the relationship between air transportation and airport industry development has theoretical and practical significance, in respect of promoting the construction of airport economy and the development of airport-surrounding leading industry in Changsha. The paper is organized as follows:firstly, analyzing the relationship between air transportation and airport-surrounding leading industry's development; then analyzing the airport economy current in Changsha; thirdly, constructing dynamics model including four subsystems, which are air transportation, airport-surrounding leading industry, regional technology innovation environment and regional economic environment etc. Based on the development of air transportation and airport-surrounding leading industry in Changsha, simulating the model system through the simulation software Vensim, measuring the contribution of air transportation and air-surrounding leading industries to GDP in Changsha; forecasting the development trend of air transportation and the airport-surrounding leading industry in Changsha in for the next decade; studying the effects on air transportation, airport-surrounding leading industry and GDP from the adjust of several related parameters, selecting the best model which promotes the development of air transportation and airport-surrounding leading industry in the largest degree. From the above study, we can draw the conclusion that the relationship of air transportation and airport-surrounding leading industry is positive interactive relationship, the capacity and efficiency of services in airport is the overhead force of the development of air-surrounding leading industries, the overhead high-tech based air-surrounding leading industries brings the great stability of supply to air transportation, and the growth in passenger air transport and air freight. In comparison, the impact of high technology is stronger on air freight than the air passenger terminal.
