Employability of students is that to ensure students to obtain employment opportunities, it is a combined capacity of social learning and personal qualities. The ability of undergraduates is help to solve the employment difficulties in recent years, and become a hot research at home and abroad. Since the 90s of last century, the employability has been analyzed as an important research tool in European labor market, and is widely used in the employment of undergraduates. In recent years, our country also focuses on employment issues of undergraduates, but there is few empirical studies. In the new situation of international financial crisis, this study attempts to research the content of the employability.Some standard research methods, such as literature review, interview and survey were used in this research. Based on the background of China's current situation, the research the established the structure questionnaire of the employability, and also explored the impact to self-esteem. In addition, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation modeling, correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis these methods were also applied for date analysis. The main conclusions are:Firstly, the content of undergraduates'employability consisted of three factors, which included social adaptation, work quality, learning and thinking ability. The reliability and validity of university students'employability content questionnaire were reached the standard of psychometric.Secondly, the research discussed about the demographical variable's effects on university students employability. These variables include sex, major, grade, scholarship, pecuniary condition, student cadre and inhibition. We found that all the variables have significant effects on some dimensions of employability. Thirdly, the research discussed the relationship between employability and self-esteem. It was discovered that"social adaptation"and"work quality"were positively correlated with self-evaluation dimension of self-esteem. Three dimensions of employability have little effect to self- acceptance.Finally, the research explained and discussed the current limitation and future orientation.
