Abstract/Summary:
In the past a few years, undergraduates employment turned out to be a highly social concern . Under such circumstances, Changchun Taxation College and Charles Sturt University program undergraduates have been facing the same challenge. The paper has undertaken a comprehensive research on the situation , utilizing related management and sociology theories and basing on the practices of the program, promoting some directing strategies, hoping it will be helpful for the program's students employment in the future and for the program's development as well.The article including six parts:Part 1. Introduction to CTC-CSU studentsFirstly, Introduction to CTC and CSU . Especially some information about the international academic exchange and collaborationCTC is a well known business school in Jilin province. In the past 20 years, it have done comprehensive academic exchanges with more than 20 universities in the world, including the joint program with Charles Sturt Universities, Australia. It is the first National Education Approved project in China. It has achieved social and economical benefits.Secondly, introduction to the program and undergraduates characteristicsThe program is based on the full use of the two parties'resources and advantages , to develop know well about Chinese culture and customs, bilingual , good communication skills and international oriented , team spirit and innovation ,honest management & business Human resources. Generally speaking, the undergraduates are equiped with study abilities, potential and creative thinking. Especially posses the competitive advantages in languages , computer system and business related expertise. Excellent undergraduates who are good at international business expertise and management skills are in highly demands by business fields in China.Part 2. The joint program undergraduates employment problems and analysisFirstly, a comprehensive understanding of the problems. Two of the prominent problems that the undergraduates facing are:A) how to cope with the development problem for the good undergraduates in order to help them successfully manage their career in the future?B) how to deal with the obstacles the students encouter a varing employment problems now ?Secondly , analysis on the underlying causes of the employment problemsA) social factors: dramatically development of the tierary education , fast growing of the numbers of the college undergraduates and commonly social demands.B) College factors: curriculum design demands improvement; the project should be promoted ; less efficient employment instruction should be enhancedC) Students factors: haven't realized it is also part of their own responsibilities , not totally society and family's responsibilitesD) Students family factors: too much demands on the students and being too strict with the students'first choice; unbalanced employment social network and resources and negative influence on the students employment attitudesPart 3. Guidelines to resolve the joint program undergraduates employmentA) Changing undergraduates'employment attitudes, forming a positive viewsB) Coping with undergraduates'employment stress problemsC) Achieving core competencies and competitive advantages D) Helping to deal with the employment difficulties and establishingconfidencePart 4. If it isefficiently analysed and chosen the appropriate strategies, it should be resolvedor relaxed in some extent in the near future and would promote thedevelopment of the joint program in the future.
