Apparel industry plays an extremely important role in China's national economy and has a great influence on it. With economic development people's living standards continuously improve, their consumer demand of fashion apparel is also growing, fashion apparel industry has become an important market for growth and profit point. In the economic and policy favorable circumstances of China's apparel industry, for the reason that fashion product's life span is very short and it is difficult to predict market demand, it's the biggest problem for apprel industry that best sellers are always out of stock and slow-moving inventory become backlog, fashion companies operating under increasing pressure. At the same time, excellent fashion foreign companies have entered the Chinese market in recent years, opportunities and threats exist in the external environment to make the competition among enterprises more and more intense, competition structure in the market is evolving.The competitive advantage of fashion company mostly depends on the quick response to market demand, compared with the international fashion Benchmarking Enterprise,there is a big shortcoming for china's most fashion companies in the market responsiveness,inventory control and so on. Competition among enterprises has been transformed into competition between supply chains in today's era of supply chain.The majority of our supply chain is mainly after product design and before sales, it's the bottom of the supply chain and only has about 10% value of the whole supply chain profit.This paper based on the majority fashin companies' problems such as response rate, serious inventory problems, etc. Author identifies the process that influence the market response rate by analyzing the diagnostic the existing core business processes in supply chain from the entire fashion supply chain perspective, and create a new fashion supply chain core business process models as quickly respond to market demand is the goal. It makes sense to the development of fashion enterprises.The following research is maily done in this thesis:study the composition of the fashion supply chain and sums up the the main operation mode of current fashion supply chain; Analysis of the core business process that influnce in fashion supply chain market responsiveness such as product development process, replenishment processes,etc. Summarizes the problems of core business processes of fashion supply chain.After a comprehensive analysis of the problem this paper propose the process re-engeneering methord of fashion supply chain to improve the response rate for the target market. Based on the core ideas of supply chain management this paper focus on partnership, information sharing, improve the efficiency of logistics and distribution process to propose re-engeneering strategy and establish new process models. there are many limitations and inadequacies in this papers such as research methods, the depth of content,etc. Many conclusions have not been fully discussed, these are to be further in-depth study.
