With the economic globalization deepens and development of theory and practice of supply chain management, in the 21 Century, the competition will no longer be the competition between enterprises self, but between supply chain and supply chain, the core competence of supply chain mainly reflects on the reaction speed, high efficiency and low cost. With the continuous development of global economic integration and information technology, many Multi-National Corporation began to establish purchasing center in China to improve the competitive advantage of supply chain, to speed up the supply chain reaction speed, improve supply chain efficiency and reduce the cost of supply chain depending on supply chain management advantage by shortening the order processing cycle, reducing overall inventory, improving the capital turnover and improving the service. BD company works as purchasing center of Multi-National Tool Corporation established in china to manage purchasing business in Chinese marketing. BD company has made great achievements, but still faces some problems such as various product series, inaccurate demand forecast, heavy inventory, complicated supplier list and long lead time weakened supply chain competitiveness of BD company, special competitiveness on order processing cycle, inventory turnover rate, capital turnover rate, so BD urgently need to introduce the idea and method of quick response supply chain to optimize and improve supply chain. This article found some problems in supply chain management, analyzed the specific reasons and established management strategy and operation method which must be suitable for BD company’s supply chain quick response of basing on theory knowledge of supply chain management and quick response supply chain, combined with the present situation of BD company’s supply chain. Finally, analyzed and evaluated the feasibility and effectiveness of supply chain quick response through concrete implementation in BD company and selected suppliers. Not only unify strategic thinking of supply chain quick response, but also integrate internal and external resource basing on quick response concept, which will improve core competitiveness of supply chain of BD company.
