Leisure Agricultural Resources And Recreation Activity Planning In Wrangler Field Of Shandan

Leisure agriculture in China is now developing gradually and the benefit has increased every year. The leisure agriculture area has provided people a lot of recreational opportunities, such as touring, participating activities, and experiencing farming, which has fed people's appetite for village life. However, due to seeking the quick success and instant profit, lacking of funding and optimum guidance, many leisure agriculture areas in similar style have been established in one district. Lacking of distinctive recreational activities, these agriculture area are losing their appeal. It worth investigating and studying on how to turn a simple agricultural resource to various recreational activities and making it develop continuously and healthily.The subject of this essay is Wrangler Field of Shandan and the essay is composed of 5 parts. In the first part, the author expatiated on the study background, study content and study methods. In the second part, the author summarized the present situation in both development and study on leisure agricultural resources and recreational activities, and the existing problems and developing potential in exploiting agricultural resources. From the third to fifth part, the author investigated in great detail on leisure agriculture development and recreational activities planning of Wrangler Field of Shandan. In the third part, the author described the current situation of Wrangler Field of Shandan and evaluated its leisure agricultural resources. In the fourth part, the author classified the leisure agricultural resources, analyzed the recreational activities which could be brought by each kind of agriculture recourses and determined the suitable recreational activities in Wrangler Field of Shandan through the survey on the tourist. In the last part, the author establised the planning principles and procedures of making recreational activities in Wrangler Field of Shandan and made a recreational activities planning on the human resources, seasonal activities, facilities and visiting routines. The followings are the main conclusion:(1)Leisure agricultural resources are the sum of elements of agriculture production, peasants'life and agricultural ecology, which could be used in recreational activities, with the qualities of productability, seasonality, locality, knowledgeability, ecology, aesthetics and participation. Recreational activities were developed based on leisure agricultural resources, with different names per different resources. Leisure agricultural resources therefore played a significant role in leisure agriculture with a tremendous developing potential.(2)Tourists often stayed in Wrangler Field of Shandan for a half or one day owing to few recreational activities could be provided. Through the analysis on local recreational activities and the survey on the tourists in Wrangler Field of Shandan, it is generally believed that recreational activities played an important role in the development of leisure agricultural resources. Most tourists are interested in scenery admiring, modern agriculture sight-seeing, farming experiencing, food tasting, folk customs and habits experiencing, local culture understanding, nature knowledge attaining and some kind of DIY.(3)It is sensible that the planning on recreational activities of Wrangler Field of Shandan should follow the belowed basic principles: locality, participation, back-to-nature, knowledgeability and placing equal stress on development and protection. The theming of Wrangler Field of Shandan should be modern agriculture sight-seeing, pasture touring and customs and habits experiencing, making full use of modern agriculture landscape and special animals feeding to develop modern agriculture sight-seeing and experiencing recreational activities, making full use of distinctive pasture and valley sceneries around the reservoir to create leisure tours experiencing recreational activities, and making full use of local history, strange stones legends and folk villages to develop customs and habits experiencing recreational activities.
