Investigation On The Application Of Humanist Scale In The Environment Of Taoist Scenic Area

With the rapid development of economy and the dramatic improvement of living standard, scenic spots which are considered to be the key factor of tourism, have been attracted an increasing attention. The status of a city depends on the memory of history, while the scenic area also needs to occupy its own position by it. The main content of this essay is the investigation of Humanist scale and how to meet human demands as the design point on this specialized local and traditional Taoist tourist attraction.Baoji Long Men Dong scenic area, which is located on Long Xian district, Baoji city, Shann'xi province, is a local spot with a typical background of Taoism. It has great significance on contributing the regional tourist network and plays an important role on connection of the whole tourist network of the northern part of Baoji city. The topic of this thesis uses this place as a clue to discuss the application of Humanist scale on Taoist scenic area and related problems.Though the research of relevant concepts about Taoism and Humanist scale, this paper builds a basic theoretic frame, provides a series of studying-thinking and analyses the related theoretical basis, designing principle, impact factors on the designing of Humanist scale in the environmental space of Taoist tourist spots. Moreover, it gives a basis of the spatial designing of Taoist scenic from the view of Humanist scale, which is based on theories of landscape design, aesthetics, human engineering and environmental psychology, combines with the field research and the integral analysis of environment, terrain and culture of the local area and finally, concludes a basic principle of designing idea and advances a well-target design conception and proposal. This essay is divided into three parts. The first one is research of the current situation, including the analysis of the characters of Long Men Dong scenic and Taoist scenic; the second part is the analysis of design principle which gives account of relevant theories of Humanist scale designing. The third part is taking the design of Long Man Dong scenic area for example, representing the application and discussion the conception and trends of humanist design on Taoist scenic spots.
