Wellness Tourism has become the trendy tourist form, wellness culture in religion is blended into tourism product development in some scenic area, but there were also some negative phenomenon of feudal superstition and fraud. Shanxi Louguantai is the birthplace of Taoism in China, it is famous in the world as Lao Tzu Li Er teached Tao Te Ching here and known as "the best Promised Land in the world". But now there are some problems of product development in this scenic area,for example, single product structure, inadequate infrastructure, and many other issues, so its tourist attraction is not strong, it can not meet the needs of tourists.This paper chooses the Shanxi Louguantai scenic spot as the object of study, using qualitative and quantitative methods, does research of how to develop Taoist wellness tourism products in the area,and develops the corresponding marketing strategy. First, the study analysis the existing scenic resources,market and product through RMP method,then with the tourists information and the product demand analysis according to the questionnaire data analysis,it finally comes to the development strategy of new product and a series of marketing strategy and safeguards under the guidance of the relevant marketing theories.This paper based on wellness tourism products development of Louguantai which is famous but low level in tourism development, and pay attention to desigh new products based on scenic resources and needs of visitors, at last it makes specific marketing strategy.and I hope it will be helpful to other homogeneous tourism products.
