A Research On The Rural Labor Force Transfer Of NingxiaHui Autonomous Region

In recent years, along with China's agricultural modernization and urbanization advancement, in the vast rural areas there yields plenty of surplus labor force.These surplus labor force has an important influence on China's economic and social development and causes the wide attention of scholars at home and abroad.One important topic of this research field is the transfer of rural surplus labor force.But so far, most domestic scholars mainly set their studies in the area of the whole country or the provinces which are rich in labor force such as Shandong and Henan. while ignoring remote areas.especially minority areas. Based on this, the paper chosen an typical minority area which has less natural resources and bad land conditions-----Ningxia hui autonomous region as the research object.Based on several agricultural surplus labor force measurement methods, we use the appropriate agricultural population model to measure the amount of surplus labor force in Ningxia, And the result is that at the end of the year 2008, about 278 million surplus labor needs to be transfered, but the actual transfer number is far less than this amount.Then, we go deep in this topic and give a detailed analysis about the basic statement,after that we analysed the relationship between the labor transfer and economic development of Ningxia by empirical analysis.Based on all of these analysis,this article analysed the influence factors of labor transfer of rural surplus labor force, and also the main problems facing front.Finally, basing on these comprehensive research,we put forward several suggestions and countermeasures for how to promote rural surplus labor transfer in Ningxia.
