Under the background of the scientific outlook on development and the development of society, economy and environment, green building is a new field. To promote the development of green building and explore the market, it is quite important to complete the work of cost-benefit evaluation for green building. According to the research of references and of the system of green building evaluation, this paper propose a economical evaluation system for green building, including its frame, main component, methods, stages and the outcomes. This system, which analyze, recognize and estimate the cost and benefit of green building from the beginning to the end, is based on the life-cycle theory. This paper builds up an economic evaluation form, which reflect quantitative indicators including the margin net present value of costs, the margin net present value of benefits, the margin benefit-cost ratio as well as the margin recovery period of investment. Meanwhile, applying the AHP method, this paper builds up a model, which stratify, empower and calculate the data and comes out a qualitative output of rating result. Combining with the economic evaluation form, they both make up the economic evaluation system for green building, and is proposed to promote the healthy development of green building market, and to specify the behavior of main bodies as well as to initiate the technology Innovation for green building in China.
