The traditional gauge is focus on period adjustment. Focus on the period checking for the gauge; pay a lot of attention to measurement checking. The purpose is to guarantee the accuracy of gauge. So period checking is a very import. As the application of the gauge, the demand for the stability, reliability and life-span of gauge are getting critical. In some cases, the stability, reliability and life-span of gauge are even more important than the accuracy. In that situation, only period checking can not solve the problem, it has to improve the analysis ability of stability, reliability and life-span of gauge, to improve its application. Meanwhile, it's a very intense competition, it's even more necessary to improve the stability, reliability and life-span of gauge.In this paper, the author focused on analysis the design and application of spanner's self-adjustment and management method of Brilliance Auto, it was for 3 aspects, they are cost control, progress control and quality control. Emphasized the quality control method of spanner during the checking period, which is very important to solve the stability, reliability and life-span of gauge problems.The author explained her opinion through the whole article, gave her suggestions and conclusions that are to improve the competition ability for spanner's self-adjustment and management method of Brilliance Auto.
