The Research Of Old-age Security For Landless Peasants In The Context Of Urbanization

Industrialization and urbanization is an important engine and the major manifestation of China's economic development. When we see the mutual benefits brought by economic development, problems occur in this process cannot be ignored, which are mainly reflected as the land acquisition activities as well as the potential social security issues in the process of industrialization and urbanization. This paper starts from the current actual situation of the Old-age security for the landless peasants, by analyzing the importance of the land throughout the farmers' lives, reflects the pension situation they will face after the land has been expropriated, highlights the theoretical and practical significance of establishing old-age security system and its institutions for sustainable development for those landless peasants, for their long-term livelihood security and the healthy development of the urbanization process in China. On this basis, China's current old-age security model of the landless peasants is analyzed. Its deep-seated institutional and systemic barriers are explored by existing shortcomings. Policy suggestions to establish and perfect the old-age security system for landless peasants are proposed.Full-text is divided into four parts:Chapter one:the purpose and significance of this study is described in the introduction. Based on comprehensive induction of the research status at home and abroad, its own research ideas and methodologies are clarified.Chapter two:firstly, the key concepts involved are defined. And the research object to Liu Hang sub-district is introduced briefly. On the basis of describing the social background to cause those landless peasants, their living conditions before and after loosing land are analyzed. Secondly, it breaks down the farmers on the process of industrialization and urbanization and points to a common old-age security. Finally, the establishment of landless peasants and the importance of old-age security are described.Chapter three:the existing old-age security model of landless peasants is analyzed. This chapter points out the pros and cons of its existence, by analyzing the existing old-age security problem, I explore deep-seated reasons for this:the unreasonable governmental responsibilities, as well as positioning the long-term imbalance in urban and rural development.The fourth chapter is the core of this article. This chapter from the system and institutional point of view puts forward the establishment and improvement of old-age security for landless peasants of proposals, including land acquisition policy of continuous improvement, the scientific division of rights and duties vested in positioning. In the old-age security system, and I put forward the concept of cooperative government and companies, as well as the stock of land-value-added model, which have greater viability and innovation.
