Based on the comprehensive analysis of the existing employee incentive system in Great Wall drilling company(GWDC),combined with the work practice and the management knowledge studied from MBA courses, The author hopes the essay can provide some useful advice for the establishment of incentive system in GWDC, which is helpful in improving employees' working initiative and efficiency, enhancing the management standard, and thereby increasing the market competitiveness and sustainable development.Mainly three problems are found through the analysis of the existing employee incentive system. The first one is the lack in necessary policy's support, mainly refer to the lack in job evaluation policy and performance appraisal policy; The second one is that the salary structure is unreasonable, it can be seen from payment and organizational performance ,low connection with employees' skill level, severe equalitarianism, bad effect of salary incentive; The third one is that the incentive is lack of pertinence, since there is no scientific analysis of different employees' needs, and thereby no differential incentive. According to the above-mentioned problems, the following solutions are put forward:1. Do a good job analysis and job evaluation. Since job analysis and job evaluation decide the relative value of the position and thereby is the basis of reasonable and effective incentive.2. Establish a scientific performance appraisal system. A good performance appraisal system can accurately measure an employee's personal performance and is the prerequisite of accurate incentive.3. Establish scientific and fair salary structure. The optimization of salary structure can achieve an effective combination of salary and job value, personal performance and organizational performance. It can also make reasonable income difference and improve employees' working enthusiasm.4. Different salary measures should be applied to different employees in the enterprise. A combination of various salary schemes should be used to better motivate employees according to their different needs, and enhance the effect of incentive.
