Peasants Action To Enhancing Their Human Capital

The thesis focuses on the topic of the enhancement of human capital of the peasants in southern Administrative villages and discusses the factors which shape the logical thinking and the action ability towards human capital of the peasants. It also suggests the solutions for peasants to break through the difficulties and search for a way to make use of the existing human capital. Based on the research of G Village of S County, we found out three important phenomena.Firstly, the peasants' action logic is shaped through the double allocation of reason and perception. The reason option mainly embodies itself through "Learning from working" and "Crowd psychology". The former is the action experience for peasants to enhance their human capital and the latter is the preference option for peasants to enhance their capital. The perception option mainly embodies itself through the peasants' stronger rely on the enterprise and the government. The peasants will have an efficient calculation before they take any action to enhance capital because the aim for the peasants is to reaching the maximum economic efficiency. They will insist on the policy of the lowest cost of action. Meanwhile, they will also enhance their capital through different social life. They have an economical reasonable quality that they will consider or calculate all the various factors which will effect their goal.Secondly, the ability for enhancing the capital varies because the people's gender, age, income, career varies. Those factors are important for peasants to enhance their capital.Thirdly, we are discussing the topic through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical terms. The social space where the peasants live has a great effect on peasants' activity during the changing the rural society structure. Also during the research, we found out that the space changing between rural and urban areas, the interaction between spaces, the changing the enterprises' structure are also play an important role in the enhancement of human capital action.
