Research On Development Patterns Of Wetlands Industry In Daqing City

Wetlands, forest, and Sea are known as the three major ecosystems on the earth. Wetlands not only has the ecological function that maintain water resources, clean the water, control the flood and drought, regulate the climate and protect the coast, but also is the enriched region of biological diversity, the most dynamic, highest-value ecosystem in the world. Since 1970s, a lot of people gradually realized the function of wetlands being an ecosystem with the deep research of other functions and value of wetlands that made by overseas scholars, such as equalizing flood and purifying water. Now, it become a hot topic of international researchers that how to develop and utilize the wetlands resources reasonably, to display the economy, ecological and social benefit, to develop wetlands industries that suit for the regional economy development, and to serve the mankind better. With the exploitation of natural resources for more than 40 years, the Daqing Oil Field faces a lot of problems, such as ecological environment deterioration, the insufficient reserve resources, and the simplex industrial structure. Those problems seriously influence the development of Daqing City. Therefore, how to use the rich wetlands resources of Daqing City, develop an ecological wetlands industry pattern to protect the environment and promotes the sustainable development of Daqing City is worth discussing.Applying some theories of regional economy development, such as ecological industry theory cyclic economy theory, and sustainable development theory, this paper analyzes the importance of wetlands benefit in regional sustainable development and the ecology environment of wetlands in Daqing City. Taking the rich wetlands resources of Daqing City as the object for study, three development patterns of wetlands industry and its countermeasures in development was put forward on considering of the actuality of ecological environment and the problems of sustainable development in Daqing City. Hope this can provide some ideas and theoretical basis for the sustainable development of resource-based cities.
