Research On Performance Evaluation Of Enterprise Competitive Intelligence Based On Balanced Scoreboard

In modern economic society, there is a growing concern over enterprise competitive intelligence. How to effectively evaluate the performance of an enterprise regarding to its competitive intelligence is of great importance. Therefore, establishing a comprehensive, complete, practical evaluation index system of competitive intelligence is a hot topic for both domestic and foreign experts.A performance evaluation model of competitive intelligence based on Balanced Scoreboard is established for performance evaluation in this paper, hoping to be able to provide a theoretical basis in the performance evaluation of competitive intelligence. Firstly, the paper describes the background, purpose and significance of the topic with a summary of the research progress both in China and abroad. Secondly, it explains the relevant theory of Balanced Scorecard and its application to performance evaluation, and then demonstrates how to set up the performance evaluation target of enterprise competitive intelligence based on the Balanced Scorecard. Thirdly, it analyzes the characteristics and meaning of competitive intelligence, sets up the performance evaluation model of competitive intelligence using Balanced Scorecard as a tool for performance from the four target aspects, that is, financial aspects, customer aspects, internal flow aspects, study and growth aspects, as well as the implementation of methods. Finally, a car enterprise's competitive intelligence department in China is used as an example of conducting empirical research after it adopted Balanced Scorecard. Then the paper analyzes the general methods of improving competitive intelligence.
