This research focuses on the curriculum system design of higher vocational tourism management in domestic in order to improve the curriculum design level and to cultivate high-quality talent that coincidence the training objective of higher tourism vocational education. It regards on three specific aspects: theoretical basis of Curriculum system Design of higher vocational tourism management, re-orientation of the talent-training objective and the framework and function of the curricula system.The guidance of the curriculum re-arrangement lies in the mature building theory of international tourist curriculum system and the principles of course arrangement at higher vocational college. At the same time, the author takes account of another key factor, that is, the present situation of curricula research in domestic.On the basis of the viewpoint of"CBE"and"multi-integration"and the principles of course arrangement of higher vocational education, the author makes a systematic design of training objective,curriculum and specific courses. The author holds that the reasonable orientation of training objective should be to cultivate high-level,technical-vocational and complex talent with the grasp of basic theory and professional knowledge of tourism management,a strong command of foreign language and operating skills of information management, who can engage in business management and specific work among different tourism enterprises. Considering the training target, the curriculum system should consist of six modules: the public compulsory courses, the general courses of tourism discipline, the specialized compulsory courses, the specialized optional courses, the specialized directional courses, the courses about professional skills. Then the author makes a further analysis on the function,the component courses,the features of major contents and the teaching requests of each module. What's more, the author takes hotel management for an example and makes a further case study.The framework of this research follows that:Chapter one: the introduction, including the background,the main issues,the methods of the research and the literature review. Chapter two: the theoretical basis of curriculum system design of higher vocational tourism management. This chapter outlines the characteristics of higher vocational education, the current design theory of vocational education internationally and the comparison of higher vocational education with secondary vocational education and higher education.Chapter three: the main issues in the current courses arrangement of tourism management in domestic higher vocational college and the detailed analyses of generating causes on the basis of survey.Chapter four: the core of this research, a new design of curriculum system of higher vocational tourism education, regarding on the design base: the guiding principles and the re-orientation of training objective, as well as the detailed description of its framework and function. Chapter five: the case study——taking hotel management as an example.The conclusion, concerning the main opinions,the innovations,the deficiencies and the issues that need further explore.
