Study On Knowledge Management For Enterprises' Technology Innovation Activities

With the advent of the era of knowledge economy(KM),enterprises' management and development is no longer primarily dependent on traditional means of production such as capital,labor,and other natural resource,but more dependent on knowledge.The way of enterprises' technology innovation activities is also gradually shifting from the traditional way to the one that focus on knowledge creation and knowledge flow.KM,which is a kind of management method and tool,play an important role in enterprises technology innovation activities.Implementing KM could fully exploit potentialities of technology innovation, promote the speed of innovation,reduce the uncertainty of innovation and enhance the competitiveness of their products.Only through KM can enterprises' technology innovation activities continue.Therefore,in order to improve technology innovation performance and strengthen enterprise competitive advantage,it has great important realistic meanings to explore how to effectively put KM into enterprises' technology innovation activities and scientifically build a knowledge management system.This thesis summed up and evaluated the status quo of KM and technology innovation, discussed the existing problem,and put forwards the thought and method of the thesis and main innovation point on the basis of this.First of all,the thesis considered that the process of technology innovation and the capability of technology innovation are the tow aspects of enterprises' technology innovation activities that can not be separated.The process reflects the capability,and the capability is the support and the foundation of the process.Only combining the two aspects,can technology innovation activities be analyzed systematically and completely.Secondly,the thesis analyzed the effect mechanisms of KM to enterprises' technology innovation activities,from the standpoint of the process and the ability of technology innovation.In the process of technology innovation,the acquisition,integration, application exchanging and creation of technical knowledge is throughout the all stages of the process of technology innovation.The process of technology innovation itself is the process of knowledge generation,creation and application.Through process management of technical knowledge,enterprises can run technology innovation activities smoothly.From the standpoint of the indicators that evaluate the capability of technology innovation,the thesis divided the capability of technology innovation into five aspects,capability of decision-making,capability of research and development,capability of knowledge innovation,capability of knowledge protection and capability of organizational learning.From the standpoint of these five capabilities,the thesis studied on the function of KM,and analyzed how enterprises use KM to promote technology innovation capability constantly.In the end,based on the analysis of the effect of KM on technology innovation activities, the thesis proposed several suggestions that how enterprises should establish knowledge management system based on technology innovation activities.These suggestions included constructing business philosophy,forming production-study-research cooperation mechanism, constructing knowledge map,and drawing up patent strategy.Business philosophy is the basic premise for knowledge management system,production-study-research cooperation is an important way of enterprises to acquire technology innovation knowledge and innovate, knowledge map is an important tool to achieve knowledge sharing,and patent strategy protects knowledge.
