In the 21st century, the enterprises compete with each other for the talented persons. The pursuit of the technical innovation makes the sci-tech talents become the contest focus of enterprises. Both Shanxi's economy dropping behind comparatively and the enterprises hard to become powerful are related closely to the sci-tech brain drain. So how to keep the sci-tech talents with the career management will become the important task of human resource management of in the modern enterprises. As a new content of human resource management, career management embodies a brand-new idea and model of human resource management and it symbols a new developing direction in the field of human resource management. The purpose of the career management is to help the sci-tech talents to carry out the development target of the enterprise.With the combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis, this paper bases on the basic actualities of sci-tech talents' career management in Shanxi Provice enterprises according to the process of investigation data and interview records, finds out the main problems such as inadequacy of the fundamental work, neglecting the sci-tech talents' career needs, shortage for systemic and effective system for employee training, scarcity of broad design for career passage and so on. In view of the above questions, under the direction of practice of the domestic and foreign excellent enterprises, the author establishes the career management system of the sci-tech talents in Shanxi, which provides practical help for the economic development of Shanxi. This paper pertains to basic application research, consisting of both theoretical and practical contribution. The former focuses on enriching theories of career management and perfecting human resource management. The latter concentrates on exploring their own development mode for sci-tech talents' career management in enterprises and bringing forward operational methods under the basic actualities of human resource management, which benefits its attracting, developing and retaining talents. This maneuverability helps build up competition and accelerate the sustainable development of Shanxi enterprises.
