Research And Realization On Inter-operation Of Heterogeneous Patent Resources

With the rapid development of China's science and technology as well as economical construction, patent resources are becoming more and more strategically important toady. Nevertheless, the shortage of the capacity about inter-operating of heterogeneous patent resources at home and abroad has weakened the efficiency of companies and researchers' utilizing patents. Many of them seem lost themselves in the "sea of patents" and do not know what to do. On the basis of summarizing and analyzing the current researches and implementation of relevant fields, this paper introduces the foreign dominant model of inter-operation of heterogeneous patent resources and mainly focuses on Patent Metadata Ontology (PMO), which relates different patent metadata, and WordNet, which are greatly useful for expanding the semantic information. At present, although there have been some researches and implementation in this region, scholars in China rarely touch it. Combined with PMO and WordNet, this paper explores the model of doing inter-operation of heterogeneous patent resources and then puts forward an algorithm used in inter-operation of heterogeneous patent resources. After that, it designs a software model of the experimental system on the inter-operation of patents and afterward uses some programming languages to realize the system, which verify the feasibility of inter-operation of heterogeneous patent resources. The investigation will help customers use patent information on the global scale, draw more valuable information from patents and therefore accelerates the innovation both in companies and countries.
