Study On Integration Of Small And Medium-sized Logistics Enterprise Alliance

Strategic alliances, as a way of effective competition, have long been accepted by the enterprises of the various countries and regions. With the advances in information technology and the increasing of the needs of logistics market, the development strategy of Logistics enterprises, especially for small and medium-sized ones, is to construct partnerships through alliance and share logistics business. Logistics enterprises' virtual logistics business unit across organizational boundaries can effectively improve weak position in competition in the logistics market, achieve the rational allocation in the functions of small and medium-sized logistics enterprises and accomplish the complementary function. It also can ensure uniform allocation of enterprise resources of the various members of the alliance and make all these resources to be applied reasonably to achieve the timely delivery. The participation of all partners can achieve the community of interests and commonly share business risks. It can further satisfy social needs in the view of the customers. So this study is of great theoretical and practical significances.In this paper, current status of small and medium-sized logistics enterprises is firstly introduced and the need for establishing logistics alliance is analyzed. Then through resource integration, organizational integration, service integration, culture integration operational integration, the integration of small and medium-sized logistics enterprises is researched. Finally, the achievement of the integration of alliance is discussed from the following five aspects, which are building an information platform, sharing of information resources, researching trust mechanism of members ,guarding against the risk of the operation of logistics enterprises and how to play the role of the government in small and medium-sized logistics alliance. Furthermore, bring forward the general framework of integration of small and medium-sized logistics enterprises. Besides, Enterprises should not only concern the right choice suited to their mode, and has a clear understanding of the risk existing in strategic alliance. It is necessary to guard against risk to ensure alliance successfully running. And paper discuss the difficulties and problems in integration of small and medium-sized logistics alliance.
