A Study On Knowledge Project Process Management Maturity Mode

Since the era of knowledge economy, the knowledge process projects, such as the engineering design projects, new product design projects, software development projects, management consulting projects and so on, has become quite an important part of the project management. Project Management Maturity Model is an important research focus of Project Management area, but the research on the Knowledge Process Project Management Maturity Model is still in the bud.Firstly, this paper firstly makes a literature review of research and comparative analysis on the features of knowledge process project management and relative study home and abroad; and indicates that current Project Management Maturity Model is not suitable for the evaluation of a Knowledge Process Projects Management Maturity Model in China.Secondly, this paper make an analysis of the main factors of the Knowledge Process Project Management Maturity , then make the the competitive impact factors be broken down into 13 major elements, and build a three-dimensional Knowledge Process Project Management Maturity Model.Thirdly, through the adoption of normative and empirical research, these 13 factors are grouped by the relationship between them, described combined with the analysis of quantitative and qualitative methods and built an assessment system for the Knowledge Process Project Management Maturity Model.Finally, A knowledge process project management case is selected to be proved the feasibility of this model, and make an analysis of the outcome of the case.This paper makes an research on the Knowledge Process Project Management Maturity Model which contains lots of shortcomings and inadequacies, so the work of improving the plan of projects so as to enhance the knowledge process project management level means a great deal to the improvement of the knowledge process project management capability.
