The Research On Overall Risk Management System Of JH Branch Of China Construction Bank

In recent years, the risks faced by Chinese commercial banks are increasingly complicated as the changing of the competitive pattern and macroeconomic background. Fragmented and partial risk management methods are not suited to the needs of the times, so it is necessary to build the Overall risk management system. More, "The New Basel Accord" calls for the overall risk management. Therefore, it is important to realize the gap between us and advanced international banks and set up a new risk management philosophy. And, building the overall risk management by using scientific risk management methods can contribute to enhance efficiency and prevent risk of Chinese commercial banks.This dissertation relies on the theories of commercial banks, information economics, monetary and banks and the modern enterprise. Also, this dissertation researches on the overall risk management systematically by making advanced western commercial banks as reference and making JH branch of China Construction Bank as a case. It covers both the basic theory about the commercial banking risks and the practical explorations in preventing such risks. And, it analyzes not only the significance and the principle of the overall risk management but also the way to build the Chinese overall management system which is of great guiding significance to Chinese commercial banks.This dissertation is divided into six chapters. At first, in order to grasp the whole article, it introduces the background and the importance of the dissertation as well as the methods and the contents of this article. Then, it analyzes the basic theories of the banks'risks from the definition, characteristics, formation mechanism and the effect and analyzes the theories of the overall risk management of banks. More, on the basis of the overall risk management experience of advanced foreign bank, this dissertation takes JH branch of China Construction Bank as an example, analyzes the source of risks, the status and problems in risk management of JH branch of China Construction Bank and give the suggestion of build the overall risk management of JH branch for China Construction Bank and Chinese commercial banks.
