Comparative Research On E-Commerce Logistics Models

With the development and popularization of internet technique, E-commerce promises well as the main commerce model in the future, and the success of E-commerce depends much on logistics. How to choose the compatible logistics model from the different types and scales is the topic of this thesis. By comparing different logistics model applications in E-commerce enterprises, this thesis aims at giving reasonable suggestions for the rationalization of E-commerce logistics.Firstly, this thesis reviews the E-commerce logistics development, and analyzes three typical E-commerce logistics models such as the model shared by E-commerce and traditional commerce, self-done logistics distribution model, Third-Party logistics model. Besides, this essay also analyzes and contrasts characters, advantages and disadvantages of three models mentioned above.On the basis of theories, sample surveys have been done among 50 E-commerce enterprises, which cover the three main E-commerce models. The results of analysis and comparison show generalities of different E-commerce logistics, which is, B to B and C to C types of enterprises mostly will take the Third-Party logistics model while the B to C type shows the tendency of poly-patterns. Based on investigations, I raise some suggestions for E-commerce enterprises on choosing logistics models, aiming to provide good market experience for customers according to their goals, their resources and development strategies.
