Shuohuang Railway co., Ltd. is established by the joint venture of the Shenhua Group, the Ministry of Railways and the Government of Hebei Province. It is mainly responsible for the construction and operation tasks of the Shuohuang Railway. The company's business has developed rapidly, while in an increasingly competitive market, in order to seize the company's future direction and development trends, nail down the company's future development goals, maintain an advantageous position in the competition, it is necessary to make research on its transport development strategy.The main contents are as follows: first, the operating status, the management system and the organizational system of Shuohuang are analyzed. Based the analyze above, the situation of the development of transport business and the possibilities of developing new freight product are discussed. Using the SWOT method, author put forward a strategy for the development of freight and feasible implementation strategies for the development of freight of ShuoHuang Railway Corporation. Railway transportation business management, reform of the organization, technology innovation, develop of new products, as well as logistics strategy are also discussed in the paper.
