Research On Auto Parts Corporations Of China Entering Into The Global Sourcing Supply Chain

Since the 1990s,two important features of ecomomic globalization,one is market globalization,the other is purchase globalization,have developed vigorously.every multinational auto corporations and commercial procurement organizations all focus their new strategies on the acquirement of global resources with low cost.Meanwhile,after the WTO's protection period,although Chinese auto parts enterprises have made a great progress in several years.they still have some weakness in total competitiveness,technological innovation,brand construction and organization structure compared to MNCs.the thesis,which take the theories of SCM(supply chain management) and global sourcing as the basis ,try to emphasize that Chinese auto parts enterprises should seize the opportunity in MNCs'global sourcing, be their partners and enhance the strength to go abroad,then take part in the international division of labor,share the sales network and global markets of MNCs' and compete with them on the stage of globalization.Firstly,the thesis introduced the implications of supply chain,global sourcing and other related theories.including theory'background,definitions,features,and basic ideas.then discoursed the reason why should auto parts enterprises enter into the global sourcing by analyzing enterprises'behaviors refered to related theories.this chapter is the focal point of the thesis,based on which,the thesis detailedly analyzed the strength,weakness,opportunity and threat of Chinese auto parts enterprises by use of the tool SWOT.next was a case analysis,the thesis took WanXiang Group,which is an outstanding representative of Chinese auto parts enterprises that entered into the global sourcing,as an example,introduced its operation mode and summed up the experience it entered into the global sourcing.after the exposition,the thesis made the suggestions based on SWOT cross-analysis for Chinese auto parts enterprises entering into global sourcing supply chain of MNCs and Chinese government making polices and administration to help Chinese auto parts enterprises to enter into the global sourcing. the conclusion is:chinese auto parts enterprises should try to seize the opportunity of the MNCs' vigorously increased global sourcing in china and make it as the future development objective,meanwhile,improve the technology and management to meet the requirement of MNCs'supplyers.only by which could strengthen the basic essence of enterprises.ultimately,chinese auto parts enterprises could achieve the goal that be the corporation as competitive as MNCs.
