The Study Of Comprehensive Auto-Parts Suppliers' Evaluation System Under The Supply Chain Environment

With more and more intense competition of the global market, supply chain management has become the research hotspot. In the same way, with the division of work of socialization and the development of global economy, the radio of outsourcing material in Auto-industry will become crescent, then it is inevitable to highly demand for supply management, on the base of studying supply chain management, the supplier evaluation and management on the basis of supply chain is brought forward and developed, the necessity of establishing strategic partner relationship between suppliers and manufacturer and the importance supplier assessment are discussed. This paper, combined with the project-China Third Party Supplier Development -supported by Sequoia Company, will propose a comprehensive evaluation system based on the Auto-industry Characteristics, in order to provider a new method for strategic partner choosing.In chapter one, the focus will be on the discussion of the methods used by the suppler evaluation nowadays. Then, the research objective and content of this dissertation are proposed.In chapter two, Based on the experience which is gained by those Advance Country Auto-Industry, it analyses the relationship and expatiate the develop way between the manufacturer and suppler of China, then the methods for choosing suppler are proposed.In chapter three, the index points system of comprehensive evaluation are established, which will represent the new requirements by auto-manufacturers in the new "Fellowship" condition. It also explains in detail the meaning about those index points and the different grades of them.In chapter four, in order to avoid the subjectivity of the common evaluation methods, it proposes the Neural Network (ANN) based on MATLAB in supplier evaluation. By using the tool of graphical user interface (GUI) in Neural Network Toolbox, a feed-forward back-propagation (BP) network objects for suppliers evaluation are created. As an example, 13 suppliers' model is analyzed here, to demonstrate how to build, train, and simulate the network.In chapter five, combined with the China Third Party Supplier Development program supported by Sequoia Company, this paper proves the effective and applicability of the comprehensive evaluation system.Chapters six summarizations and reviews the work of the thesis and takes a review of the future works to improve and perfect the theory, methods and system integration.
