Case Study Of Company A's SA8000 Implementation

Along with the development of the economy and society, more and more people have realized that a company should take its corresponding social accountabilities while making its profit. After China was accepted as a member of WTO, many multinational companies raised SA8000 (Social Accountability 8000 International Standard, abbr. SA8000) request to their Chinese suppliers. But many Chinese labor-intensive export companies still do not understand SA8000 and its requirements to these companies clearly.This thesis of the article analyses the SA8000 implementation requirements and the relevant cost and earning for labor-intensive export corporations by taking the SA8000 implementation of DaLian Anny Arts & Crat Co.Ltd in 2006 which is a labor intensive paper products export company as an example by using comparative analysis, comprehensive analysis, logical reasoning analysis and variance analysis methods on aspect of the social responsibility of corporations. At the meantime, this thesis provides the solution for the problems which may appear during the SA8000 implementation has been certified feasible by the real case.The author hopes this case can push labor-intensive export companies to change their minds and realize the importance of the specific requirements of SA8000 and its implementation. And, this actual case can provide a reference for other companies to find and fix their problems when they face SA8000 and gain profit from social morality marketing.
