Study On The Risk Management Of Shipping Enterprises

There are particular risks on shipping field, huge risks exist in vessel purchasing, building or chartering, managing and so on, therefore it is necessary for manager of shipping enterprises to ascertain risk level of their enterprises, to establish appropriate strategies and reduce risks on enterprises according to rank of risk.Risk management is in primary stage, lacks of systematic, and stresses on risks of financial field, research on enterprises risk management is very few, even less research on shipping enterprises risk management. Focus on present status, this paper begins with character of shipping enterprises, according to the principle of systematic, scientific and practical, studies on theory and method of shipping enterprises risk management, provides scientific principle for shipping enterprises risk management.This paper begins with defining the concept of shipping enterprise and its risks, classifies the risks of shipping enterprise and puts forward the four stages of risk management: risk identification, risk evaluation, risk control, risk management results evaluation; Then, identifies the inner and exterior risks of shipping enterprise, analyzes the rootstock of each different risk factor; researches shipping enterprise risk evaluation based on above, erects risk evaluation index system and predict risk status based on fuzzy integrated evaluation and AHP, and conduct simulated analysis on the model; studies risk control of shipping enterprise, discusses risk control strategies on different ranks, puts forward classification control measurement on different risks, and emphasis on control method of shipping market risks; finally, evaluates shipping enterprise risk management outcome, introduces the process of effect evaluation and indexes system.
