Reaserch On Risk Management Of A Container Shipping Company

The steady development of the world economy is constantly being challenged by the impact of the COVID-19,geopolitical and regional turmoil,and the difficulty of sustainable development in some countries and economies.In this case,shipping enterprises as participants and beneficiaries of the shipping industry are facing more challenges and opportunities,Effective risk management and sustainable development are one of the main challenges facing shipping companies.The final objective of this work is to examine the risk factors of the entire maritime sector and the real situation of A container transport companies,perform analysis and risk assessments from large to small,industry to company,and highlight the specific factors that affect the risk management of maritime transport companies.And provide suggestions and corresponding strategies for risk management of shipping companies.This article uses an analytical hierarchy process and an incomplete fuzzy assessment method to assess the risk factors of A container enterprises.First of all,to investigate the operational environment and characteristics of A shipping companies,allied to bibliographical research,shielding risk factors,optimizing and adapting according to the characteristics of A shipping companies and establishing the corresponding index evaluation system.Secondly,use the analytical hierarchy process to determine the weight of risk indicators in the risk management of A container shipping companies.Third,the fuzzy comprehensive assessment method is used to assess the risk factors and determine the most important risk factors.Research shows that external risk factors such as maritime market risk,financial risk and political risk have a major impact on the risk management of A shipping companies.operational risk and other internal factors have a major impact on the risk management of A shipping companies.According to the results of the risk assessment,combined with the actual characteristics of the operation and the specific situation of container transport companies,this document presents specific risk management measures.It is hoped that the research strategy adopted in this article can help the research of other similar companies,promote and improve the comprehensive strength of China’s container shipping companies in risk management and risk control.
