The purpose of this article is to review intermediate business process reengineering in Shandong rural credit cooperative.As customer needs change, intermediate business play a more important role in commercial bank than the traditional deposit and loan business. Being the main force to support the three rural issues, Shandong rural credit cooperative must understand fully the importance of intermediate business. Owing to low technical level, there are enormous malpractices in each process of intermediate business. With reengineering the bank and value chain management theory, the author studied the proposal for intermediate business process reengineering in Shandong rural credit cooperative, and gave the design for Intermediate Business Support System.This thesis falls into six chapters. First chapter is the summary of the background and the structure of the article. Second chapter points out some theories and methods of reengineering the bank. Third chapter analyses the marketing position and strategic planning for intermediate business in Shandong rural credit cooperative. Fourth chapter presents status quo of each intermediate business process, then gives the cause analysis and the necessity to intermediate bussiness process reengineering. Fifth chapter is the focus of this article to give the designs for counter service process, front marketing process, distribution channel process, product development process, risk management process. Sixth chapter studies the intermediate business support system. Seventh chapter explains the main ideas and the further studying suggestions.The main research results of the paper mainly lies in: analyzing the strategic planning for intermediate business in Shandong rural credit cooperative; then giving each process the reengineering design; finally, proposing the intermediate business support system.
