The Model Of Household Activity Pattern Formulation With Time Window

In recent years, with the rapid development of the city's economy and the standard of people's living, the population of a city increase quickly, so the vehicles of city growth quickly too. It causes the conflict between the transportation supply and the transportation demand turning worse, the city transportation system gets into the saturation state even the supersaturation state. So it is an effective way to formulate transportation demand management strategy for solving the transportation problem. Through studying the residents'needs of transportation, constructing a forecasting model of the household activity pattern formulation, so the activities of the residents can be forcasted properly. It can provide the gist for the deparment of the traffic to constitution traffic demand strategy for the improvement of the city's transportation.First the background and significance of this dissertation are proposed, and the importance of this study on transportation planning and management is showen.It provides the summary and analysis of current situation and the aggregate of the activity-based transportation forcasting model, then gives the advantages of the activity-based approach than others. So the model of the household activity pattern formulation is the main content of this dissertation.Then the model of household's daily activity pattern is constructed. The standpoint of the model: first the factors and constraints which influence the activity choice of a family is analyzed, and they are quantified,then the timewindow constraint is added. Then the model is constructed with the method of shortest path problem , and model examples is solved using the algorithm of genetic algorithm.Finally, a summary is generalized according to the context and logic of this paper. And main study achievement and further study direction are showed.
