A Study On Chinese Corporate Social Responsibility

The Corporate Social Responsibility is becoming more and more an attention issue since 1980s。To comply with the economic globalization and the China's entry into WTO,the Corporate Social Responsibility has been quickly disseminated and practiced in China。With the reform and opening to the outside world and the development of socialist market economy system,enterprises are becoming independent of the main players in the market。Enterprises has been changes from "economic man" to "social people"。Although our own enterprises have got some achievements on carrying out social responsibility,there is no doubt that the status quo of CSR in our country is not optimized。The corporate social responsibility is still in its infancy in china。Because of the weak sense of social responsibility,there are many drawbacks in the back of rapid economic development。such as,destroying the environments,and negligence of labors'right and hurt stakeholders'profit,fake and shoddy products flooding the market,and so on。So,the paper is centered on the reasons of the lack of the corporate social responsibility and the ways to solve these problems from the perspective of the relationships between the government,enterprises and society。Before writing this paper,the author not only have read lots of books and readings,Master's and Doctor's papers,meetings,but also have looked some cases of the corporate social responsibility through the internet,especially about the protection of the environment and safeguard labor rights and other stakeholders interests。In this process,I feel more and more the significance of writing this paper。Promoting corporate social responsibility movement in China,it will not only enable enterprises have a certain competitiveness on the international market,but also enable China to avoid confronting the tortuous path and problems which developed countries have traversed and encountered,and avoid destroying the natural environment while developing the economic,and ease the conflict between labor and capital,and protect the economic interests of national and consumers,so it will promote the development of the enterprise and social。This paper adopts the methods of theoretical research to research the current situation of the corporate social responsibilities in china。This paper mainly studied the status quo of corporate social responsibility in our country and current problems;and analyzes the reasons of the problems and the ways to solve tthese problems from the perspective of the relationships between the government, enterprises and society。The paper consists of six parts:Part one is preface。The first part summaries both here and abroad relative studies,and points the study background and significance,and the analysis of the ideas and methods。Part two is the theoretical basis and the standards of evaluation the status quo of corporate social responsibility。Part three is the current situation of the corporate social responsibility in our country。Part four is the practice and experience of some enterprises fulfilling CSR。Part five is the ways to solve the problems。Part six is the conclusion of the study and prospects。Through analyzing the current situation of the corporate social responsibility and the current problems,this paper draws the following conclusions:firstly,The enterprises must take the initiative to carry out corporate social responsibility,if they want to achieve sustainable development;secondly,the government,enterprises and society should make concerted efforts to propel the corporate social responsibility。The innovation of this paper is:the author analyzes the current situation of the corporate social responsibility in our country,specifically on the environment,on the employee's and consumer's profit;the author gives suggestions to solve these problems in three sides which is government,enterprises and society。...
