The integrated circuit industry of Mainland China has been developed rapidly in the past few years, the industrial international competitiveness has also risen. But compared to America and Japan, It still has a long way to go. So it has important instructional meaning to promote the industry development by Studying the core competitiveness of integrated circuit industry of our country.Much research has been done on the industry international competitiveness and company core competitiveness by foreign and domestic scholars, which has formed a perfect theory system. But it has little research work on the industry core competitiveness theory. The industry international competitiveness mostly focus on the national macroscopical lay, the company core competitiveness mostly focus on the microscopical lay, the industry core competitiveness mostly focus on the middlescopical lay, it is the innovation and development of industry competitiveness theory on the foundation of the former two theories.This article analyzes the meaning, the effect factors, the guideline evaluating system of industry core competitiveness, establishes the analysis frame. On the foundation of the frame, this article analyzes the actuality of the integrated circuit industry core competitiveness of Mainland China, indicates the key restriction of the IC industry development of Mainland China. In order to break the restrictions, this article puts forwards some constructive suggestions on capital, technical talent, supporting core leading company, development stratagem and so on. It is believed that the research will give reference significance to promote the IC industry core competitiveness of Mainland China.
