The Research On The International Competitiveness Of The IC Industry Of Mainland China

As a country’s core part of high-tech industry,Integrated circuit(IC)industry has played a fundamental role in promoting the development of society and economy,safeguarding national strategic security.Government has always attached great importance to the integrated circuit industry,established the outline of national integrated circuit industry development in 2014 to promote the development of IC industry in China,but still has a huge gap compared with the developed countries.This paper combines the development background of the IC industry’s international competitiveness and research achievements of IC industry by domestic and foreign scholars,based on the relevant international competitiveness theory and trade theory,.First,analyzes the characteristics and law of development of integrated circuit from national and enterprise level,as well as the development of global integrated circuits and the current stage of China’s IC industry development status by means of comparative analysis.Secondly,this paper constructs the industry competitiveness analysis framework,put forward the core technology level,quality of core enterprise,the core segment advantage as main indicators,and decomposes each indicator,summarizes ten factors which can influence China’s integrated circuit industry’s international competitiveness,and analyzes the trend of each factor in the past two decades by means of theoretical analysis.The empirical part of this article has carried on the gray correlation analysis to data and cointegration analysis,discusses the strength of the influence of each factor,analyzes the problems existing in the IC industry of our country,put forward some suggestions.
