Research On Selecting Leading Industry And Industrial Distribution Of Linyi Port Economic Zone

Port economic zone plays an important role in promoting the development of city's economic. Port Economic Zone, the region's development is inseparable from the development of industries, and industries don't develop all together at the same time. Giving priority to the development of some industries that have good bases, strong association with other industries, considering them as leading industries, can point to all areas, led the region's economic development.This paper first introduces port economic theory, describes the need for selecting leading industries in port economic zone. Secondly introduces benchmarks and related theories on selecting leading industry, such as the gradient transfer theory, growth pole theory; pointing out theoretical models of port economic zone's leading industry choice, including index system and evaluation methods of leading industries' selecting. Then based on qualitative analysis, selecting Linyi Port Economic Zone's leading industry with principal component analysis method, providing useful lessons to Linyi Port Economic Zone of which industry should be developed in priority. Based on different conditions of different plots in Linyi Port Economic Zone, taking quantitative and qualitative analysis, doing research on industries and industry portfolio suitable for different plots, provide a useful reference to port economic zone's industrial layout.
