Distribution Center Location For Regional Logistics In Shengli Oil Field

With the development of global economy, modern logistics, as the third profit source, has become the economic hot spot since 1950s. During the development of logistics, the transportation is very important to efficient logistics, and the designing of distribution network is the key factor to manage an efficient logistics. Therefore, the distribution center location problem becomes the core to construct a logistics system. Based on the analyses above, the distribution center location problem for regional logistics is of vital important for the logistics system design in Shengli oil field.Start with the features and trends of the logistics, this paper sums up the existing theories of distribution center location at first, and men proposes the purpose and significance of this paper. The real characters of the logistics in Shengli Oil Field (SLOF) are investigated and based on which the distribution strategy of SLOF is presented. According to the classic mathematic models, the paper designs an improved distribution center location model for SLOF. We use a heuristic method to transform this Non-linear Programming to a Linear Programming for solving the problem. Finally, the paper applies the model to SLOF, taking the Xianhe distribution center of SLOF as an example. This paper realizes a program using MATLAB to confirm the correction of the model, and gets a reasonable result of distribution center location problem.In the reality, the foundation of Xianhe distribution center has a great impact on the regional logistics of SLOF. The study of this paper provides a practical method to choose the right location of a distribution center. The research also is beneficial to the resource integration and quick response of service in SLOF.
