The Research On Lean Prodution Strategy Of S Company

Lean production is a scientific management theory and tools popularly used in enterprises world widely. Lean production focus on all kinds of waste exists in enterprise operation, reduces these wastes through tools and methods of value stream analysis, continue flow, fast exchange, pull production etc. to reach the goal of reducing inventory, production cycle time, yielding more goods or service with limited resources.This thesis analysis the production of S company, provides the lean production strategy, analysis the results of implementing lean production strategy in S company, and summarizes the experiences got from the implement of lean production strategy in S company. The study results could be the reference of lean production practice will be implemented other company.The lean production strategy of S company includes identifying waste and bottle-neck process in coils workshop by using value stream analysis, finding solution of increasing bottle-neck process productivity, reducing waste with the application of lean production methods such as setup continue flow, process layout improvement, Drum-Buffer-Rope pull production plan etc. Implement these solution actions.The process efficiency of S company coils workshop has been increased over 40%, the inventory and production cycle time has been reduced more than 40% after implementation of lean production strategy. This means that the lean production strategy of S company is productive for S company coils workshop. The lean production strategy should be continued in coils workshop, and a lean company culture should be established in S company, lean production should be implemented in all process of S company at same time.Lean production can be implemented in domestic manufacturing company successfully if the company fully understands its characters and lean production tools and techniques. A company should select proper lean tools and techniques according to its goal and need when it try to implement lean production strategy, and the company must follow the continue improvement circulation principle to find and remove the waste again and again.
