Research On Scource Of Industry Competitiveness & Its Evaluation Model

In recent years, more and more industries are emerging in China. Research on the phenomena is aroing much more attention of governments, academic experts, and enterprisers, and, it has had material progress. For instance, there are lots of research findings in the field of conception, characteristics, mechanism and application of industries. However, generally speaking, the research on the issue is in a low-level stage just like that of Chinese industrial development. Most researchers are focusing on the basic topics e.g. conceptions and the foreign findings. Quantitative and dynamic researches are less. The reseach that is combined with Chinese practical situation and guide Chinese industrial development is much less.The thesis focuses on the topic of 'industry competitiveness' and it's aimed to analyze the issue based on the previous overseas and domestic findings. The topic will be elucidated from 3 aspects: the conception of industry competitiveness, the source of industry competitiveness and setting up evaluation model. The combination of quantitative analysis (AHP method) and qualitative analysis (Entropy method) will be used to futher analyze the relationship between industry and its competitiveness. The end of the thesis brings a case into the research: demonstrative analysis on the Comparation of competitiveness aommong Jiansu, Zhejiang and Shanghai in order to evaluate the competitiveness of the three regions objectively, based on which some proposes will be held for the improvement of Shanghai's competitiveness.
