The Problems Of The Chinese High-tech Exports, Research And Development Strategy

With deeper integration of the world economy, the competition of international market is increasingly fierce. It highlights the competition in science and technology, especially the high-technology, which represents a country's competitiveness. High-tech industry has developed rapidly in China and export of high-tech products has increased. Remarkably since the strategy of "invigorating trade through science and technology" implemented. Although suffered the whole world financial crisis's impact in 2008, the volume of exports had dropped for a period of time, the export amount had returned to a normal growth at the end of December, 2009.Starting from reviewing related international trade theories, this paper studies the current situation of China high-tech industry at first. We can see that the added value of China high-tech industry declined in recent years; the proportion of high-tech industry to the manufacturing is from increasingly to decreasingly; most parts of the high-tech industry are in Eastern China; there is a large gap between China and the developed countries on R&D; a certain degree of success has been made in the introduction of foreign investment. And then, start from the present situation of high-tech products export, we analyzes the overall condition of the China high-tech products export and the structures of the export products, the export markets, the export enterprises of high-tech products, we can find main problems for further development. Finally, puts forward measures for improving high-tech products of China basing on previous study such as the international competitiveness of China high-tech products export is not strong, the growth of the venture capital market is not complete, most of export rely on processing, the way to use FDI is not perfect.This article makes use of the union analyzing of induction and deduction, the union analyzing of qualitative and quantitative, comparing analyzing. We analyze the China high-tech products export with the help of the formal research results home and abroad, find the present problems; analyze the present situation of the China high-tech products export by data and graphs based on the facts and data; analyze the speed, scale and technical disciplines of the China high-tech products export and the disparity to other developed countries according to longitudinal and transverse comparison.The export amount of China high-tech products has increased greatly in recent years, which promotes the growth of Chinese trade and economy. We can find the problem of the China high-tech products export after the research of this article. The strategic arrangements and measures being implemented have improved the export of China high-tech products in recent years, but if this situation can contain in the future, it is a question. We should realize the"double-edged sword"and do deeper research.
