The performance appraisal usually refers to the process of conducting comprehensive and subjective analysis and evaluation on the performance, working ability and attitude of the man power in a given period of time according to subjective criteria by employing scientific theories and methods. The results of the performance appraisal are regarded as the foundation of the human resource's decision-making and the basis of the salary management.With HDCI as its research background, the author studies and explores the performance appraisal of the human resources of HDCI, and puts the results of performance appraisal into the use of the salary management of the enterprises. Firstly, the author analyzes the current situation and deflects of the performance appraisal and salary management of the enterprise based on the current situation of the enterprise and puts forward the technical lines and reform plan of the performance appraisal and salary management of the enterprise. Secondly, the author designs the staff's performance appraisal, index system and importance model with the modern management theory and quantitative analysis on the basis of the unification of qualitative analysis and the quantitative analysis. Then, the content, criteria and methods of performance appraisal are determined based on the responsibility-description of the staff. At last, the author has conducted research and design to the enterprise's salary management based on the performance appraisal.
