Manufacturing Enterprises' Procurement Under The Uncertainty Of The Supply Chain

As an important link and the second profit source of the manufacturing enterprises, the strategic importance of procurement has gained more and more attention in the manufacturing enterprises home and abroad. In the new century, the procurement environment of manufacturing enterprises has undergone major changes with the rapid development of information technology, the acceleration of economic globalization, various kinds of advanced manufacturing technology and the constant application of the management model. As a result, enterprises should look at their own procurement management from the perspective of the supply chain. However, in the practice of the supply chain management, the unavoidable uncertainty arising from demand, supply, and production makes the manufacturing enterprises' management and decision become all the more difficult. Therefore, the study on the manufacturing enterprises' procurement under the uncertainty of the supply chain will be not only of theoretical significance, but also of practically value.This thesis analyzes the concepts and causes of the supply chain uncertainty, discusses the possible impacts it led to the manufacturing enterprises from three aspects: the existing procurement model, the suppliers' selection and the suppliers' management. This thesis also builds a new procurement model based on the theory of constraints. In the selection of suppliers, the thesis makes a further improvement on the commonly used methods which combining the fuzzy method with the Analytic Hierarchy Process by introducing fuzzy ranking chain, and gray correlation method, builds a new model of supplier selection in order to make the choice of suppliers more concise and efficient under the uncertainty environment. Finally, this thesis proposes the new management methods in order to reduce the impact and the risk of the supply chain partnerships under the uncertainty environment. On these bases, an empirical study of the S company which is affiliated to JAC Group is made to verify the theory proposed in the thesis.
