In this so-called knowledge economy, how to establish and maintain a creative group of employees is one of the key concerns of organizations. Knowledge employees, as the owner and user of knowledge and skills, attach more importance to self-value, therefore have more complex expectations to its organization. This thesis engages to find appropriate measures to motivate knowledge employees, by applying various theories to analyze factors in motivation.Knowledge employees have the following characteristics: knowledgeable and skillful, capable for innovation, having high wishes and abilities for self-value-added, of strong emotion to meet high level needs, critical to rules and of strong sense of social responsibility. Therefore, the core factors in motivating knowledge employees are: self-development, independence, achievement and wealth。Accordingly, organizations are able to create a highly creative and happy working group by making the same aims and values of the employees as that of the organization, contributing to personnel development, establishing reasonable result and value evaluation system that promotes social equality, improving organization mode, enhancing communication and exchanges, managing stress and promoting physical and psychological health.Factors are so difficult to be recognized, the process of motivation is so complicated and what measures could be applied are effected by surroundings and costs not mention that the difficulty in changing values of human being. Those are topics for further study. |
