After passed agricultural society, industry society, the human society is striding into the knowledge economy age. In 1996, OECD published an important report"Knowledge-Based Economies". This report pointed out: Knowledge-Based Economies, which are directly based on the production, distribution and use of knowledge and information. The experts have predicted, the knowledge will win the dominant place in the international economy in 21st century.Under the influence of the knowledge economy, the customer demands, the company environment and the product strategy have all changed. In knowledge economy, the customer demand trends will change as follows: widely and highly, emotional and sentimental, personal and diversified, healthy and green, convenient and fast, combined and related. On the other hand, the environments which the company faced to are more complicated. The product strategy is influenced by the customer demands and the environments, the new changes in the customer demands and environments will bring new changes in company's product strategy and the product will be added new ingredients, like emotion, value, convenience, health, and so on.The article starts with the theory of the knowledge economy, through the analysis of the background, development, mature, we will find out the basic features of the knowledge economy. And then, the main ingredients on the customer demands change will be discussed and the customer demands will be concluded. Next, the direction will be back to the company. Firstly, the environments should be considered, and finally all the factors will be considered, the product strategy is the main objective. Above all, the article is divided into five chapters.In the first chapter, the definition of the knowledge economy is discussed. Though the case of the America's new economy, the topic is brought in. Next, the research on the knowledge economy is begun. From its appearance, its background, its development, its maturity, the definition of the knowledge economy and its features are very clear.In the second chapter, the emphasis lies in the trend of the customer demands. The factors which influence the customer demands have changed, so the demands will also change. The factors include the environment, like technology, nature, material, culture environment and the individual factors, like motive, idea, mind, quality, and so on. From above, the trends of the customer demand will be proposed.In the third chapter, the destination is back to the company. And firstly, the environment which the company faced to should be discussed. New environment brings new product. The product has new changes.In the fourth chapter, the product strategies will be discussed. New customer demands and new environment impel the company to adopt the new product strategies. The new product strategies not only have the common features, but also have the different contents. Some important product strategies will be discussed.In the last chapter, conclusion and outlook will be put forward.
