Research On The Knowledge-Based Product Configuration Technology And Applications In Point-Switch Products

Mass customization has become an important manufacture mode in information times. The technology of Product Configuration is a key method for realizing Mass Customization. Basis on analysis of product configuration's appearance and development, the paper give out the technology of product configuration, which is base on knowledge. The key thought of this paper are on the basis of product family based on generic frame, the method of product configuration based on CBR, the product configuration's estimation and optimization based on the client's requirements. Finally, give out the examples which have been applied in the enterprise.In the first chapter, the paper introduces the knowledge's information in the product design, analyses the origin and development of product configuration, and then, introduce the status of technology, evaluation and optimization's research. Finally, the author points out the paper's research content and structure.In the second chapter, after analyzing the theory and technology of product family model, a product family model, which is based on the GBOM, is given out. Based on the model, this paper researches the material coding and bills of material, which are the basis technologies of model. After analyzing point-switch's characteristic, puts out the product family model of point-switch, which is the product configuration's basis.In the third chapter, based on the analysis of CBD, the paper puts forward a method of product configuration which is based on case. This paper establishes the case-based product configuration model, gives out the acquirement of clients' requirement, the algorithm of search cases and the process of product configuration's method. In the last, puts out the application of the point-switches, proves the method of product configuration is efficiency.In the forth chapter, based on the analysis of clients' satisfaction index, the paper researched the calculation model of product-cost and product-time. And then, puts out the evaluation model, which are affected by the product's cost, time and capability. At the same time, researches the technology of optimization, gives out the optimization method of product configuration. Finally, puts out the optimization's example.On the basis of the above analysis, Chapter five introduces the system of product configuration, including its platform, system framework, key modules and so on.
